THE FARGO FAMILY

The Fargo family resided in Frenchtown, New Jersey at the same address for over 100 years. The family patriarch, Clarence B. Fargo, was an active member of the community and documented the history of the Delaware Valley and Frenchtown in several books. Clarence and his wife, had three daughters, Edith, Marion, and Marjorie, . Throughout their lives the Fargos were very active in the community and dedicated to the community’s well-being and development.

The Fargo sisters continued to live in the family home and support many organizations in Frenchtown and the Delaware Valley until their passing. The Fargo sisters were especially dedicated to the well-being of women and children. Their interests and generosity were unlimited as they contributed to local churches, emergency service providers, and animal shelters, to name a few.

The Fargo sisters established the Fargo Family Foundation to honor their father and support projects that foster growth and improve the quality of life for both humans and animals. By awarding grants the foundation strives to make an impact and to inspire the generosity of others and empower those who share its vision.
